1980  China National Import & Export Commodities Inspection Corp. was established.

1984  China Commission for Conformity Certification of Electrical Equipment (CCEE) was established.

1993 China Export Commodities Manufacturer Quality Management Appraisal Center was established. (It was later renamed China Import and Export Quality Certification Center.)

2002  China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) was set up based on the consolidation of 6 institutions (including CCEE and China Import and Export Quality Certification Center ) under 5 ministries or commissions.

2003  The former China National Import & Export Commodities Inspection Corp. went through restructuring and reorganization, and transformed into China Certification & Inspection Group (GZESL).

Dec. 17, 2005  Wang Fengqing, President of China Certification and Accreditation Association (CCAA) visited GZESL Shenzhen Co., Ltd.
